The HOBBYWING eFoil S1 Classic Beginner Set is a complete electric hydrofoil designed for beginners and recreational riders looking for stability, easy handling and confidence in their first eFoil sessions.
The generous 103-litre carbon board makes it easier to keep your balance. The shorter 56 cm mast and the stable carbon wing help you learn step by step and behave predictably as you move from riding on the surface to flying above the water.
A powerful electric drive, an intelligent battery and an ergonomic remote let you match the ride to your skills.

Technology that makes flying easier
1. S1 Classic – 103-litre carbon board
The construction combines carbon fibre, fibreglass and an EPS core for high strength, stability and low weight for its size.
At 160 × 65 × 15 cm the board offers a comfortable standing area and good stability at low speed. The non-slip EVA deck pad adds comfort and grip, and integrated handles make carrying easier.
2. Carving Carbon Wing – stability and control
The carbon front wing combined with the stabiliser is designed for smooth lift, stable straight-line riding and predictable turns.
Its character helps new riders make the transition to foiling without unnecessarily aggressive reactions.
3. Drive unit – 5.5 kW of clean power
The hydrodynamically optimised drive unit combines a brushless electric motor, a three-blade propeller, a protective cage and water-cooled control electronics.
The shorter 56 cm mast improves handling while learning, and the modular design allows compatible components to be exchanged as your needs change.
4. Wireless remote – control at every moment
The ergonomic waterproof remote with stated IP68 protection has a colour LCD display and three riding modes for different levels of experience.
You always see the key operating information and can move gradually from a calmer ride to more dynamic performance.
5. SmartCell Battery – energy for longer sessions
The 2,016 Wh lithium-ion battery features intelligent management and monitoring of operating parameters.
Thanks to the Plug & Ride design the battery can be swapped conveniently without the usual handling of exposed electrical connectors.
The stated ride time of up to approx. two hours can vary considerably depending on rider weight, speed, riding style and water conditions.
