Right of withdrawal

A consumer who has concluded a purchase contract at a distance – for example through our online store, by e-mail or by telephone – has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the goods. This right applies only to consumers, not to entrepreneurs or companies buying in the course of their business.

If you ordered several items delivered separately, or goods delivered in several lots or pieces, the period runs from the day you receive the last item, lot or piece.

How to withdraw

To withdraw from the contract, inform us by an unambiguous statement, for example by e-mail or by post. You may use the withdrawal form below, but it is not obligatory.

To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your notice of withdrawal before the 14-day period expires. If you send the form by e-mail, we will confirm receipt without delay.

Returning the goods

After notifying us of your withdrawal, you must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day you informed us. The goods must be returned complete, clean and safely packed, together with all accessories, documentation, manuals, chargers, batteries, keys and other parts that were included in the delivery.

You bear the direct cost of returning the goods, unless expressly stated otherwise. For large or technically sensitive goods – in particular boats, eFoils, electric surfboards, jetboards, batteries and motors – please contact us before sending so that we can agree on a safe and suitable method of transport. Lithium-ion batteries must be shipped as dangerous goods; on request we will tell you the estimated return cost before you buy.

You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning (for example use on the water or scratches). Simply opening the packaging does not cancel your right of withdrawal.

Refund

We will refund all payments received from you, including the original standard delivery costs (except additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive your notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have proved that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier.

We refund using the same means of payment as you used for the purchase, unless we agree otherwise with you. You will not be charged any fees for the refund.

When the right of withdrawal does not apply

The right of withdrawal does not apply in particular to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised – for example individually configured products, specially ordered equipment, goods modified at the customer's request or personalised goods.

The right of withdrawal also does not apply to sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once unsealed after delivery, to goods which after delivery have become inseparably mixed with other items, and to services that have been fully performed with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that the right of withdrawal is lost once the service has been fully performed. For rentals, lessons and other leisure services booked for a specific date, the terms of the specific service apply.

Purchases in store

When buying directly at our premises, showroom or another point of sale, there is no automatic 14-day right of withdrawal without giving a reason, unless such a right arises from applicable law or has been expressly agreed. Your statutory rights in the event of a defect are not affected – see our Complaints Rules.
