Battery disposal notice

In accordance with Croatian legislation, in particular the Sustainable Waste Management Act (Zakon o održivom gospodarenju otpadom, NN 94/13, 73/17, 14/19, 98/19, 84/21) and the Ordinance on Batteries and Accumulators and Waste Batteries and Accumulators (Pravilnik o baterijama i akumulatorima te otpadnim baterijama i akumulatorima, NN 111/15, 126/19), we are required to inform our customers about the rules for handling batteries and accumulators.

1. Take-back obligation

Every end user is obliged to return used batteries and accumulators to designated collection points. Used batteries that ACTION YACHTS d.o.o. places or has placed on the market can be returned free of charge to our dispatch warehouse:

2. Do not dispose of with household waste

Batteries and accumulators must not be disposed of together with municipal waste. The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on a battery means that it must be handed over for environmentally sound disposal or recycling.

3. Marking of hazardous substances

The following symbols may appear on batteries:

• Pb – the battery contains more than 0.004 % lead by weight
• Cd – the battery contains more than 0.002 % cadmium by weight
• Hg – the battery contains more than 0.0005 % mercury by weight

4. User responsibility

The customer is obliged to return used batteries for environmentally sound disposal. In doing so, you help protect the environment and ensure that hazardous substances are processed safely.

This notice is valid from 1 February 2025 and applies to all products purchased from ACTION YACHTS d.o.o.
