Our story

From a family project in Puerto Rico to a new water sport

The LIFT FOILS story began in 2010 in Puerto Rico as a family project driven by a passion for surfing and technical innovation.

In 2015 co-founder Nick Leason presented the idea of an electric hydrofoil that lets riders glide above the water without depending on wind or waves.

That idea gave rise to a technology that opened an entirely new chapter in water sports.

Today LIFT FOILS combines modern design, carbon construction, precisely engineered wings and an advanced electric drive.
